About

I’ve been an editor and proofreader for just over four years now, and I adore my profession. Being able to immerse myself in words each day and help clients present their best work is truly rewarding.  

I’ve worked with clients worldwide, assisting with projects including manuscripts, blogs, social media, and web content. I’ve worked with various genres and within specialist fields.

​I live in Colorado with my husband, kids and two dogs. We enjoy the outdoors whenever possible, spending our free time camping, hiking, fishing, skiing and lounging in the sun. I thrive and feel alive in the warmth of the sun, wandering trails, camping, exploring, digging in the dirt, and relaxing by the water. 

Previously, I worked in the IT industry as an IT project manager, Scrum Master, quality assurance engineer, and web content manager. I spearheaded and collaborated on multiple web content, product description, onboarding manuals, process documentation, technical documentation and business writing projects. I earned the role as the go-to person for reviewing and editing anything client-facing. Each role reinforced my love of writing and editing. Being able to convey complex ideas to the general public or a targeted audience is something I truly enjoy.

Continuously learning is a passion of mine. I believe it is necessary to maintain sharp skills, understand new practices and be able to provide the best quality to my clients.

I leverage my industry experience to bring a solid process to your project. I am skilled at welcoming a reader into your world and immersing them in the vision, feelings, and understanding of your message.

I hold a bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in IT from the University of Colorado. I am passionate about processes, quality and building interpersonal relationships.

I previously managed international teams of developers and was the daily point of contact for clients. I have worked remotely for 7 years and am quite comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with team members.

Born in the United States, I spent many years in Europe and Asia, studying in Japan, Germany, and England, before settling in Colorado. I enjoy learning about relationships, trauma healing, investing, marketing and copywriting.
